New Hope Leadership

Pastor Derrell Dean, a native of Anderson County, currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church in Belton, "The House of Hope. Prior to pastoring, he served The Fairfield United Methodist Church and Long Branch Baptist Church as an associate minister. He was elected to New Hope in 2019 and is an avid singer and lover of gospel music and can easily be heard singing with his church's music ministries. Pastor Dean is an author and has authored two devotional books entitled, Self-Declarations 40-Day Devotional and Self-Declarations Volume 2 60-Day Devotional, both available on Amazon. He has a heart for people and loves seeing individuals operating at their best potential. He believes that real ministry reaches a person where they are and pushes them to where they shall be.
